We are looking for a FOOD AMBASSADOR. Entry level kitchen position.

End of the Thread Cafe is a unique experience for the consumer. www.endofthethread.com
From home baked pies like Grandma used to make to a bowl of chili like Momma used to make....the food alone will bring a memory or two to mind. Looking around the store will also take you back in time as the nostalgia is endless. Customers dine at tables that are for sale but are used during their visit.

Combining a giftware, antique emporium with the comforts of home cooking. All soups are made from scratch just like the good old days of time past. We are currently looking for the right kind of person to join our kitchen team. We are a "Ma & Pa" owner/ operated shop that could use some helping hands to join our family.

If you are a self starter that works well both independently and within a team...then read on. This position is perfect for someone in their second year of the Culinary program or for a graduating student. A great place to get started on your Chef career in a fun filled environment. If you know how to make your own soup stock & then in turn make soup/ chili from scratch, order ingredients according to your menu choices....follow a recipe and know your way around a commercial kitchen with intention and purpose then you may be our next kitchen queen or king! Looking for someone with a passion for food, people and delivering exceptional service. Breakfast and lunch orders are short order. Baking ability would be an asset.

This position is full time starting ASAP. Could potentially start part time now (weekends) until the end of the school term.
Shifts are daytime. Weekends required.
Please apply in person with a resume and cover letter.
References based on culinary experience will be required.

A secondary position may be available as the busy summer season kicks into high gear.
All interested foodies should apply.

Ask for Steve or Tracey at End of the Thread Cafe @ 15 Main St Brighton (we are beside the Rexall Pharmacy and across from Sobey's)

Job Requirements:
Culinary qualified, student or graduate
Time Management
Food & Waste Management
Multi-tasker, Organized
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Positive attitude
Ability to work independently but capable of taking direction

Salary: TBD
