Job Description Maintenance Worker Parks Canada is looking for a Maintenance Worker for their Trenton operations. Duties will be to assist in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all major structures, equipment, mechanical and hydraulic systems; operate and maintain a wide variety of specialized tools, construction equipment and vehicles; participate in the Waterway employee and public safety program and in the sector water control program, making water flow adjustments at dams; participate as a crew member, locating, positioning, maintaining and repairing aids to navigation and maintaining navigation channels as required; and perform other related duties. Candidates must have experience in the maintenance and repair of grounds and buildings as well as experience in the operation and maintenance of various tools and construction equipment. Position is Mon–Fri, from 8–4:30 pm. Wage is $21.08/hr.
