Job Junction
Job Junction is for young people 16 to 29 years of age who are having difficulty finding and keeping a job. Job Junction consists of workshops and one-on-one assistance that will help the young person find employment. Job Junction can also help the participant to apply for a social insurance number, obtain a bank account and provide transportation to job interviews.
Participants can expect to:
- Discover the skills they have to offer employers
- Learn valuable job search techniques
- Develop a resume and a cover letter
- Learn how to keep a job
- Gain confidence with job interviews
- Get connected with a support worker
Job Junction offers workshops 5 days a week. The second phase of the program provides one-to-one assistance until the participant finds a job. Job Junction is offered in both Belleville and Trenton.
